As Course Director, Mr. Hariri founded the ENT GP Course driven by his experience with two GPs in his family and a deep understanding of ENT's vital role in primary care. He brings extensive expertise as a Consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in Head & Neck and Thyroid surgery, alongside broad experience in general adult and paediatric ENT. He graduated with distinction from Imperial College London and trained across leading London hospitals, including the Royal National ENT Hospital and the Royal Marsden.
He further honed his skills through an international fellowship in minimally invasive, robotic, and scarless thyroid surgery. His NHS practice is based at Northwick Park and Mount Vernon Hospitals, where he is a core member of the Head & Neck Cancer MDT and the ENT Clinical Governance Lead.
Mr. Hariri manages a wide range of general ENT conditions relevant to primary care, with specific interests in airway, swallowing, and salivary gland disorders. He is an active researcher and innovator. A dedicated educator and supervisor, Mr. Hariri created this course specifically to empower GPs with the confidence and skills needed to effectively manage common ENT presentations.
Mr. Anooj Majithia is an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon with substantive NHS practices at North West London University Hospitals and The Hillingdon Hospitals Foundation Trust. He graduated with honours from Guy's and St Thomas' and completed his specialist ENT training across prestigious North London centres, including the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. His private practice is based at The Clementine Churchill (Harrow), Bishops Wood (Northwood), and The Chiltern (Great Missenden) Hospitals

Mr. Gentle Wong is a highly regarded Consultant ENT Surgeon based in London, treating both adult and paediatric patients across the full spectrum of ENT conditions. He is recognised for his compassionate, patient-focused care, receiving multiple accolades including Certificates of Clinical Excellence from iWantGreatCare and Doctify's Outstanding Patient Experience Badge. Mr. Wong graduated from King's College London School of Medicine, also completing an intercalated Physiology degree with First Class Honours. His comprehensive specialist ENT training spanned the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex regions and prestigious London centres like the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital and Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital. He gained valuable paediatric experience at the renowned Evelina London Children's Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Alongside his NHS and private practice managing common ENT conditions relevant to GPs, Mr. Wong embraces innovation and technology in healthcare, currently serving as the ENT Clinical Lead for the virtual health service, Medefer. A dedicated educator, he is actively involved in training junior surgeons as an Educational and Clinical Supervisor, an invited faculty member for FRCS courses, and an examiner for national recruitment. Mr. Taran Tatla, President-elect of ENT UK, is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, specialising in Head & Neck, Thyroid, and Laryngology. He graduated from University College London, also earning a first-class intercalated BSc, before completing his FRCS (ORL-HNS) and undertaking a PhD in collaboration with Imperial College London, focusing on novel optical imaging for clinical application. Mr. Tatla manages a wide variety of general ENT conditions relevant to primary care, alongside his specialist work. He is a core member of the local Head & Neck and Thyroid Cancer MDTs, chairing the latter, and has significant experience in disease screening, minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, and complex swallow and tracheostomy care. His innovative approach extends to exploring digitally integrated service delivery models, including tele-training. A dedicated educator and leader in the ENT community, Mr. Tatla has delivered numerous multidisciplinary postgraduate courses nationally since 2004 and has served as Training Programme Director for ENT Higher Surgical Training (North Thames). His commitment to fostering learning and collaboration, combined with his extensive clinical and research background, makes him an invaluable contributor to the faculty of the ENT GP Course.
Mr. Bhavesh Patel is a multi-award-winning Consultant ENT Surgeon and Educator, recognised for his extensive clinical expertise and commitment to teaching. He graduated with honours from Imperial College, also earning a first-class degree in Healthcare Management, and was notably awarded the Royal Society of Medicine’s Gold Medal for the highest national performance in the ENT fellowship examination. He serves as a council member for the British Society of Otology. His comprehensive ENT training was completed across prestigious North Thames London centres, including the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Mr. Patel manages all aspects of General ENT relevant to primary care, bringing a wealth of experience to the course. He has a particular internationally recognised expertise in ear conditions and hearing restoration surgery, known for innovative techniques including awake and minimally invasive endoscopic ear surgery, and is one of the UK’s highest volume stapes surgeons. A passionate educator, Mr. Patel holds a Masters with Distinction in Surgical Education from Imperial College and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He actively mentors the next generation as an Educational Supervisor, Undergraduate Clinical Tutor, and Medical School ENT Lead. His dedication to outstanding patient care (recognised by multiple awards) and his significant contributions to surgical training make him an exceptionally valuable faculty member for the ENT GP Course.
